Our goal is to help you keep your natural teeth for life. However, in some cases this is not possible, and extraction may be the best option. Whether you require the removal of one or several of your teeth, we will keep you feeling comfortable and safe throughout your treatment.

Most extractions are performed with local anesthetic. The teeth and gums in the area are numb for some hours, so that the extraction is painless and no after pain is felt for some time. It is prudent to allow quiet time after an extraction to promote ideal, quick and comfortable healing.

Some extractions are performed under general anesthetic. We utilize a modern day surgery facility where dedicated anaesthists are experienced in dental procedures. Patient safety and comfort is paramount. Wonderful nursing staff look after our patients from arrival until it is time to go home. You must be accompanied and observe the usual requirements for general anaesthics.

We have a close relationship with local oral surgeons for procedures best managed by specialists.

After your procedure we will give you detailed post-surgical instructions, to ensure the fastest and best possible healing. We are devoted to caring for your oral needs and your well-being always takes precedence.
